Sylvan Hills Bears are set to take on the Cyclones of Russellville this Friday night at 7:00 pm at Russellville. The Band, Cheer Squad, and Dance Team will be in attendance to support the Bears. General admission is $7. Tickets must be purchased online at https://gofan.co/app/school/AR18678 .
The Bears come into this one 0-2 after a tough loss last week at home to the Vilonia Eagles. Junior Tyler Blakely had this to say about the upcoming game against the Cyclones, “[i]t’s another opportunity to show who we really are. We just have to come together for all four quarters and everyone does their jobs.”
The Russellville Cyclones have opened their season 1-1. They lost their first game of the season to Morrilton 35-30. Then, they won their second game of the season last week at Greenbrier 10-7. This will be their first home game.
Junior Caleb Harrison also added his input on the upcoming game, “I think Friday we have a chance to redeem ourselves, show everybody what we got, who we really are. You know, just because we started the year off 0-2 that’s not who we are as a team. We got a lot of players, a lot of key pieces, and when it comes together it’s a masterpiece in motion.”

Put that game-related info at the end of the article, that’s not the focus so you bury the lede with info like that right out the gate.
Also rework how you phrase the Russellville record. Was a little confusing to see 1-1, but said “won their second game of the season”. I get what you’re saying but it even gave me pause.
Keep writing!!
