The Sylvan Hills Bears football team will take on the Marion Patriots in Marion, Arkansas at 7 p.m. Both teams had a bye week last week. Marion comes into the game with a record of 2-1, having lost their last game against Conway. Sylvan Hills comes in with a record of 0-3 having just missed upsetting Russellville.
“Our goal tonight is to play hard, play physical and to give a lot of effort,” Junior Kristian Jackson said.
The game can be viewed at Sylvan Hills Sports Network on YouTube. Band, cheer, and dance teams are set to travel with the team to support the Bears against Marion.
Junior Tyler Blakely said, “I’m looking forward to putting up a battle and spoiling their homecoming night.”
