Tuesday, September 24, the Sylvan Hills Lady Bears Volleyball team defeated the Parkview Patriots at home 3-0.
Senior Khendal Johnson said, “We did good serving in the Parkview game.”
Thursday, September 26, the Lady Bears lost to Jacksonville on the road 2-3.
To improve from the Jacksonville loss, Johnson went on to say “[w]e need to learn to communicate, clos[e] the block, [and do better] receiving the short serve, and [making] smart tip[s].”

This weekend, the Lady Bears will play Lakeside and Shiloh Christian in the Lakeside Tournament in Hot Springs. The first game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday. For fans unable to attend the game, but wanting to watch on their devices, the games can be watched on YouTube under Lakeside TV.
