On December 5, the girls’ swim team dominated the North Little Rock girls’ team in relays. Composing these relays were: Junior Mia Mabry, Freshman Abigail Keen, Freshman Sara Adams, and Junior Taylor Adams.

As for the 200 Medley Relay, the girls came in first and set a best time for the season for their relay team. Mabry got an immediate lead on backstroke, Keen kept the team ahead on breaststroke. Taylor Adams kept the girls ahead, and Sara Adams finished off the relay securing the win.

“I think we performed very well all around,” said Junior Taylor Adams. “The starts were really on time and we got a good lead. We swam to the best of our abilities, and it turned out to be a fun race.”

While the girls did not set a new best time for the 200 freestyle relay, they still came away in first place giving the swim team another win. The race as a whole was head to head but Taylor Adams finished it off securing the win. The girls are currently working hard to prepare for their meet December 12 in Benton.
