The Sylvan Hills Bears Junior Varsity  football team is set to take on the Rockets of Catholic today at 6:30 p.m. at Catholic. The cost of entry to the game is $5. There will be no TV coverage of JV events.

The Bears Junior Varsity team is coming off a huge win over Sheridan 48-21 in a back and fourth game that didn’t break for the Bears until they made several explosive offensive and defensive plays.

Junior Micheal Fry And Junior Charlie Meabon combined for 15 combined tackles and 5 quarterback hurries to create meham for the Sheridan offense. The defensive line had success rushing the quarter back, making it hard for the run game to gain traction and hard for the quarterback to get comfortable. Sophomore Caden Burnett connected with all of his wide receivers. His most frequent target was Sophomore Mo Phillps who scored 2 touchdowns and had 89 receiving yards.
