Next Semester, we will start our MAP testing, which freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be doing. We will be going against Maumelle High School with our scores to get the students pumped.
We are tracking who will have a chance of winning based on DFA scores that we take once a month in English and math. Maumelle is currently beating us in math, but we have an advantage in our reading scores. To make this fun, we have decided that the students who meet their RIT goal will attend a game of the winning school’s choice at their field for free! Everyone who meets their RIT goal gains their team points. Ff 67% of our 11th/10th/9th graders meet our RIT goal, we round up, so we will get 7 points for that, and we will do that for each of our grades. Â
To get started for testing you will need a good night’s rest the night before, so you can be attentive during your test. Also, a good breakfast will be good as well, because it’ll give you the energy you need. Now, for the students it is only a matter of time before they have to take the ACT, which will determine what colleges they will get into and what scholarships will also be handed to them during their senior year. So, these tests are perfect practice to get into the groove of that.
