Mrs. Bridges is a world history and AVID teacher at Sylvan Hills High School. She has been teaching for 25 years. It’s her first year teaching at Sylvan Hills. She taught at 3 other schools over the years, including Mills, North Pulaski, and Maumelle High. Mrs. Bridges decided to teach at Sylvan Hills because her children will be attending Sylvan Hills. She lives in Sherwood, which is much closer. Mrs Bridges says “I always loved school and admired my teachers. School was my safe place, and I have always loved history.” Her favorite unit to teach is the early 1900s. Something not commonly known about Mrs Bridges is that she has a twin sister, and they look nothing alike.
