With senior year coming to an end, Te’shawn White is counting down the days. There’s more and more to look back on and discuss with friends and acquaintances each day. This, is something that Te’shawn will be thankful to think back on as well.
He likes his time here at school, spending it with friends or learning new things in psychology class in particular. It’s something that people should know about him first.
“I like talking to everyone generally,” White said. “If you’re nice to me, I have no reason not to be nice to you,”
Whether it’s with friends or someone he’s meeting for the first time, White believes kindness is something everyone deserves. Something that can very easily be lost in translation in one’s time throughout high school.
Te’shawn is also a part of the Film Society club and even helped film one during the first semester.
“The film was really fun to shoot, and although there were tons of laughs we still did the film and it came out good!”
It is safe to say joining Film Society and other clubs was a great decision for Te’shawn.
Despite his enjoyment of talking to many people, many students might be surprised by his home life. Te’shawn has four brothers and has even shared a room with three of them at once. If that alone doesn’t show his patience and kindness, I don’t know what will.
Though Te’shawn can sometimes be classified as a chatterbox, he still values his school work, Especially in these last months, it is critical to keep one’s head held high and finish strong.
He says nothing inspires him more than “…when I see someone putting their effort into something visibly, and it pays off; it’s one of the most beautiful feelings and sights ever.”
In his love for psychology, that is where he sees himself after high school. He cares about many people and their emotions, and exploring what that means within a person is quite interesting to him.
His main focus is that “…people can damage their lives more than they think when they can’t properly manage their emotions.” Something that he does not take lightly and would love to help people with.
After we all graduate in May, Te’shawn will have it made. He has been saving his money and working as hard. He hopes people will remember him to be kind. After all his time in high school, he wants to be remembered as a friend that anybody would love to have.
