Coach Bristo is a Sylvan Hills High School teacher who teaches both biology and athletic topics. His upbringing into teaching began when he began to enjoy the way his old teachers would teach and explain topics in an enjoyable and understandable manner. Bristo has taught kids for 36 years, though this is his first year at Sylvan Hills High School.

Coach Bristo’s favorite units to teach are athletic development and anatomy. One thing students might not know about Coach Bristo is that he participated in a 1989 game show American Gladiators where he completed a sports challenge course.
