The Lady Bears finishing out the year 11-12-3. They had a very productive season despite them losing 12 games out of the season. The lady Bears fought through adversity towards the end of the season, needing to beat Beebe and Vilonia both being away games to make the Arkansas Volleyball State Tournament. Fighting against tough crowds, the lady Bears beat both teams. Other cards played out, and they made the state tournament. They then faced the tall order of having to play the Marion Patriots in the first round. Marion defeated the Bears 3-0 before going on to win the State Championship in the class 5A.
Senior Amari Burise said, “It was a fun and eventful season.” She wishes the underclass the best for seasons to come.
