On March 5th, 2025 I wrote interview questions and answers for Duncan about her career and the experiences that meant the most to her. During the interview, she reflected on several highlights and the lessons she hopes students will take with them in the future.

Duncan said the moment she is most proud of in her career was when her team won NCA Nationals. She explained that the victory meant so much because it showed how all the hard work, dedication, and time the team put in truly paid off. For her, it was not just about winning, but about seeing the results of everyone’s effort and commitment.

She also talked about what she hopes her cheerleaders learned from being part of the program. Duncan said she hopes they learned to lead by example, emphasizing that actions matter more than words. She believes that showing leadership through hard work, attitude, and behavior is one of the most important lessons students can take with them beyond cheer.

When asked what makes a prom truly unforgettable, Duncan said it is the memories you make with your friends. She explained that while decorations and planning are important, the moments students share together are what they will remember most years later.

Duncan also reflected on planning her last prom, saying it feels like a major accomplishment and another meaningful chapter in her career. As she looks back, she hopes that the students she worked with learned how to be productive citizens and gained the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the future.
