The Bears dominated the Russellville Cyclones for their third straight win bringing them to 3-0.The final score of the game was 50-0. The Bears looked great on both sides of the ball, shutting out the Cyclones on defense and scored 50 points on offense.
With the Bears scoring 50 points, they officially passed their total points scored from last year. The Bears scored 148 total points last season, which is three less than what they have scored this year in just three games.
Quarterback Tyler Hampton completed 17/19 for 276 passing yards and 4 passing touchdowns, along with 5 carries for 38 rushing yards.
Running back Isaiah Howell carried the ball 4 times for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Wide receiver Tyler Blakely had 4 receptions for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ryan Parham had 3 receptions for 68 yards and 1 touchdown. Lakobe Brent scored his first touchdown for the year and had a total of three receptions for 23 yards.
When asked about the early success the Bears have seen, Junior Ayden Morgan said that to them, “winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing”.
