The Sylvan Hills Bears beat Catholic 50-22.
Going into the game the Bears had a chance to secure being the number one seed in the 6A East conference.
The game was close in the first half, but the Bears pulled away in the second half for a big win to give them a first round bye week in the playoffs.
This week Quarterback Tyler Hampton threw for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns along with 10 rushes for 121 ground yards and 2 additional touchdowns.
Running back Isaiah Howell rushed 24 times for 166 yards against the Rockets. Running back EJ duckery ran the ball 16 times for 121 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Wide Receiver Ryan Parham caught 5 balls for 46 yards and 1 touchdown. Wide Receiver Lakobe Brent had a big 51 yard reception for a touchdown.
The offensive line protected their Quarterback against the Rockets as they didn’t allow a single sack the whole game.

The Bears have a bye week this week, as they go into the playoffs needing three more wins to be crowned 6A state champions.
