Abbie mayden, a graduating senior from Sylvan Hills high school, is preparing to embark on her post-secondary educational journey at Pittsburg State University. Her plans include pursuing a degree in education. Alongside her academic pursuits, Abbie will continue her involvement in athletics, having committed to playing softball for Pittsburg State.

“I’m so excited for this next chapter and I’m grateful for all the support from my family, friends, and coaches.” Says Mayden.

Throughout her time at Sylvan Hills high school, Mayden has been an active participant in various aspects of school life. She is an active member of senior executive, beta, theta, and national honors society. Alongside this, her passion for softball has been a significant part of her high school experience, contributing to her development as both an athlete and a student. Outside of her school activities, Mayden values her connections with family and friends, often spending free time with them.
