
Sylvan Hills High School’s choirs spent Thursday afternoon, December 11, 2025, making final preparations for their annual Holiday Choir Concert with a full dress rehearsal in the Performing Arts Center (PAC).
Led by choir director Mrs. Harris, students rehearsed from after lunch until 3:55 p.m., running through their selections and polishing details ahead of the evening performance. The rehearsal served as the final practice before the combined Art Show and Choir Concert, which took place later that night.
The concert featured performances from multiple choirs, including A cappella Choir, Treble A Choir, and Treble B Choir. Students worked on blend, balance, and stage presence during the rehearsal, ensuring they were ready to perform for families, faculty, and community members.
The A cappella Choir included Fernanda and Hugo Alamilla, Joshua Alexander, Thurman Bateman, Kylei Blocker, Baylee Brooks, Zakayla Carter, Chloe and Emily Cathey, Alyssa Chavis, Jayce Chism, Adriana Diaz, Braylen Dorsey, Jaime Funez, DeAundre Fowlkes, Ky’Muni Gay, Katie Griffin, Jeremiah Gulley, Lilaina Harrell, Briley Hild, Aaden Hodge, Kelan Lacey, Taylor Ladd, Richard Lester, Ryan LeVar, Taylea Madden, Genesis Martin, Hailey Middaugh, Mayson Moore, Braylon Murdoch, Kayleigh Myers, James Patterson, Yamileth Ramirez, Hayden Reiter, Anecia Riley, Rihanna Ross, Samantha Shepherd, Zoe Sinisgalli, Chody Sweeney, Aydin “Zay” Taylor, Kaitlyn Throne, Austin Walker, Jakayla Washington, Nevaeh Watson, and Imani Whaley.
Members of the Treble A Choir were Avery Brown, Czarvier Carter, Courtney Delcamp, Kamryn Grundy, Laniyah Johnson, Reylina Lopez-Bastian, Paidyn Lott, Pace Allyson, Nyala Speller, Aaliyah Spencer, and Kyndall Willoughby.
The Treble B Choir included Amber Acker, Kailyn Aronowitz, Brooklyn Brown, Alaina Chase, Edyn Coffman, Aaliyah Johnson, Katelyn Thomas, Katelyn Wilbourn, and Allyson Tillman.
The Holiday Choir Concert is an annual tradition at Sylvan Hills High School, showcasing students’ hard work and musical growth while helping set a festive tone for the season.
